This therapy group is being established to help new and/or existing clients:

• Give and receive feedback to/from one another
• Safely and honestly discuss personal issues
• Identify appropriate expectations in relation to others
• Express feelings that are difficult to express outside of the group
• Learn how to ask for the support they need
• Receive support and encouragement from other women who may be currently experiencing or have successfully resolved similar struggles
• Learn about the way they interact with others
• Try out new ways of behaving in relation to others

Groups will be held weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7:30 pm, beginning April 8, 2008 at 969 Greentree Rd, Suite 108. The self-pay rate is $40 per session. If you are currently in individual counseling and are utilizing your insurance benefits, please discuss your benefit / payment options and treatment plan with your therapist.

Please note that group members determine how much and what is disclosed at each group session. No one will ever be forced to discuss or divulge anything about which they are uncomfortable. At the beginning of each session, the therapist will remind group members that by participating, they have made a commitment to maintain the confidentiality of all members’ identities and experiences.
