Jessica Alef, LCSW

Jessica Alef is a seasoned psychotherapist who has helped thousands of people in Atlanta, Chicago and now Pittsburgh. She has extensive experience as a provider of individual, family and couples counseling, specializing in humanist and cognitive-behavioral techniques. A capacity for compassion combined with comprehensive counseling skills make Jessica a valuable asset at Relationship Resolutions.

While earning her Bachelors in Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, Jessica stayed busy as an advocate and hotline worker for crisis victims in addition to her work teaching social and interpersonal skills to the autistic population. During her Masters Program in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, Jessica obtained experience counseling two additional specialty populations: children and adolescents as well as people suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. After completing her education, Jessica went on to working primarily with the severely mentally ill population in a variety of settings. In addition to providing crisis counseling and case management services, her role as Psychiatric Social Worker provided her with the opportunity to develop clinical assessment and treatment procedures to dually-diagnosed clients.

Jessica is enthusiastic about joining the team at Relationship Resolutions. She believes this special opportunity will allow her to expand her skills, work with problems and populations she loves, and help her clients grow and change.
