Emilee J. Mainali, LCSW
Emilee is a master’s level licensed clinical social worker who thrives on working with individuals, families, children and groups to treat a variety of emotional and behavioral issues. Since graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work in 2006, Emilee has received extensive skills training in a number of areas, including: conducting group therapy, addressing harm reduction, working with resistant clients, the nature and treatment of addictions, and working with sexual assault victims in crisis. She also has counseling extensive experience as indicated in her work at the following organizations: Family Links, Pyramid Healthcare and most recently, as a Collaborative Care Management Social Worker at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Emilee uses a systemic, strengths-based approach to assessing client needs and then focuses on creating a personalized treatment plan for her clients. Her therapeutic work draws on techniques from a variety of clinical backgrounds including person-centered brief-treatment, motivational interviewing, and dialectical and cognitive-behavioral therapies. She also enjoys helping clients develop skills for self-esteem, communication, and emotional expression. Emilee’s focus is on building collaborative and productive relationships with her clients that promote change and growth throughout the therapeutic experience. |
