Dana Kirkpatrick, MS, NCC, LPC

Dana is an accomplished therapist who employs an eclectic approach with every client by focusing on each client’s individual needs. She has a real interest in providing tools to assist clients in meeting their goals and utilizes a collaborative approach in assessment and treatment planning.

Dana’s passion for helping others began when she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in American Sign Language from the University of Pittsburgh. Following graduation, Dana began working as a family-based therapist utilizing Structural Family Therapy and Family Systems Theory. She earned her Master’s Degree in Community and Agency Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania while working as a therapist in a partial hospital setting with children diagnosed with mental health disorders. Her most recent experience includes providing therapy to children with Autism, Asperger’s, and Anxiety Disorders.

Dana has been successful in treating a range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders. Her work to date has provided her with invaluable experience in dealing with the unique needs and issues facing today’s families and serves as a strong foundation in working with a wide range of populations and problems.

Dana recently advanced her skill set by becoming a certified Rational Hypnotherapist in the theory of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is excited to begin using the skills she acquired in her training program. We are confident that her experience and compassionate approach will enhance the team of Relationship Resolutions by providing clients the support needed to improve their quality of life.
