Arthur Zipris, PhD

Arthur is a licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania with over 30 years of clinical, teaching, and training experience. Since graduating from Duquesne University’s Clinical Psychology Program in 1982, Arthur has obtained professional competency in several sub-specialties, including: Marriage and Family Therapy and Substance Abuse Treatment. His extensive experience with the elderly population also sets him apart as an expert in working with this population’s unique challenges.

Arthur’s counseling philosophy is based heavily in Bowen Family Systems Theory. He strongly believes in treating the ‘whole person’ and uses an Experiential approach while emphasizing skills development as part of his work with clients.

In addition to his clinical work at Relationship Resolutions, Arthur is an adjunct faculty member at Seton Hill University in their Department of Psychology. He is also a faculty member at Western Pennsylvania Family Center, a training program for people interested in learning about Bowen Family Systems Theory. Since 1986, Arthur has also presented numerous workshops to a variety of organizations on various topics. We’re honored to have him as part of our team.
